Newly elected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif shared some "very emotional things" with him in the evening he took oath.
In a microblogging website, the Indian premier tweeted that Nawaz Sharif told him that he and his mother got very emotional after seeing the visuals of Modi’s mother offering her son sweets.
“The visuals touched both Nawaz Sharif ji & his Mother. He told me that after seeing the visuals his Mother got very emotional.”
“Nawaz Sharif ji told me that he stays in Islamabad but goes to meet his Mother once in a week,” Modi said.
